Next Generation Dance Studio’s number one priority is to provide quality, affordable, fun, dance instruction in a variety of genres for your child, including: Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Modern, and Musical Theatre. These classes are offered at different levels from pre-school ages and up. Between Friends Art Center is truly a kid-oriented community spave that focuses on providing opportunity in the arts in a way that your child will find enjoyable, while ensuring that you, as parents, don’t have to break the budget. Our team of talented dance instructors come from a variety of dance backgrounds, but teach with one goal in mind: YOUR CHILDREN!
For your convenience, we at Next Generation Dance Studio want to keep your cost down to an affordable rate. That is why there is no extra charge for registration, dance rehearsals, or the recital. Dance payments are to cover dance classes, and that is all! Classes will be charged on a monthly basis, not per class. This is customary for all dance studios. The monthly fee is based on the average of a four week per month class schedule. However, there are some months where due to vacations, holidays, weather, teacher availability, or just the way the calendar falls, there may be more than four classes, or less than four classes. Remember, it is based on an average of four classes per month, and tends to even out in the end. Payment is expected on the last week of the month to pay for the following month.
Discounts are given when a student takes multiple classes per week, or when there are siblings taking classes also. The payment by month is as follows:
1 class per week = $35 a month (an average of $8.75 per class)
2 classes per week = $66 a month (an average of $8.25 per class)
3 classes per week = $96 a month (an average of $8.00 per class)
4 classes per week = $124 a month (an average of $7.75 per class)
5 classes per week = $150 a month (an average of $7.50 per class)
6 classes per week would be $174 a month (an average of $7.25 per class)
HOWEVER, for your convenience, we offer a FAMILY PACKAGE!
If your child takes more than five classes per week, the Family Package is available to you at a cost $155 a month. That means after five classes per week, your child can take unlimited classes for only $155 a month! If you have multiple children living at the same address, you will pay only $155. The convenient pricing is very helpful for families with multiple children taking multiple classes, and can cut the cost down to as little as $3 or less per class! This is a great way to be able to expose your children to a variety of dance styles and classes for such a low cost.

In addition to dance classes, we have a Dance Team available for children ages 5 and up, which practices once a week and competes in an annual competition in March. The cost is $10 per month to participate, plus additional costs for the actual competition, although the majority is covered by fund raising by the dance team. With a dance team commitment comes a responsibility to put in extra hours to fund-raise and prepare for the competition.
June 1st 2013, children will have an opportunity to showcase what they have learned in a recital. It is a wonderful experience for both the children and the families to see the rewards or their hard work. While there is no additional fee to be in the recital, children will be required to purchase the designated costume selected by their dance instructor. We try to make it as inexpensive as possible by finding costumes that are affordable, unique, and can be re-worn. Costumes will be ordered before the recital and are expected to be paid in full by May 1st. Parents are welcome to begin putting $2-5 per month towards this cost starting in September. Costumes may range from $15-35 each, depending upon the class. Paying a little bit each month helps to alleviate a huge costume bill come May, especially for children in many dance classes.
There will also be an observation week held in December, when parents can sit in on the classes in the theatre to see what the students have learned to this point.
