About Our Space
Next Generation Theatre features musical performances from some great local artists, as well as touring musicians and bands. Our venue offers shows weekly and we are always looking for talented musicians and performers of all ages.
The intimate cafe-lounge style seating as well as the ability to add and remove full theatre seating makes Next Generation a versatile performance or party space. There is a floor available for dancing as well as the set up of banquet tables for suppers, birthday parties, weddings and bridal and baby showers. We even have a disco ball as well other fun lighting available for dance parties. At your request a dance teacher can be made available to give dance lessons to your party guests for a small additional fee. ($25/hr.)
Our End Style Stage has a small columned thrust ideal for one man/woman shows, karaoke, debates, and comedy acts.
The stage itself has supported casts of upwards of 30-60 children and teens. Plenty of room for troupes looking for a space to perform full scale productions and for bands to rock out for a crowd.
The rental fee for the theatre is $85/hour. With a half an hour prior to the event to set up and afterwards to clean up included at no extra charge.
The theatre seats 127 people and concessions (including beer and wine) are available for your event for an additional charge. There is also a separate dressing room/changing area for a flat fee of $40 per event.
Backdrops, props, and costumes from our previous plays are also available for rent. We have performed a variety of musicals and have fireproof backdrops and props from such popular performances as “Beauty and the Beast”, “Annie”, “Seussical”, etc. If you are interested please call for pricing.
We also rent out our classroom spaces to local photographers, musicians and music teachers, dance instructors, and performers looking for a practice space. The rental fee for the dance studio and classroom is $30/hour (pricing negotiable for an extended use contract)
